Engineering for stair and footings to be submitted to city for review prior to construction. This building is fire spinklered for allowable area increase. Permit for tenant improvement including the addition of a 2,953 sq ft second story within the existing footprint of an existing 28,350 sq ft pre-engineered warehouse and office building. Work to include: New second floor with two exit stairs; exterior improvements including new doors, windows, trellis, entry vestibule and site work; demolition of portions of concrete slab for new structure; new interior non-bearing walls; new electrical, mechanical, and plumbing; and new interior finishes in compliance with Chapter 8 of the 2012 IBC. Special Inspections required per attached Form 310. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system. Any alterations or modifications to the buildings Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 & NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. **JAR**

Spoke with owner George Massing. He would like to change the building Construction Type from IIB to VB and the 2nd floor structure from steel to wood to save costs. Permit has not been picked up yet. Greg confirmed that he would like ePlan Case sent back to architect to resubmit plans with modifications. He anticipates resubmitting in a month or so. Told him that project would be reviewed by fire/bldg/structural at a 10-15 day timeframe, and if a 4th review is required, additional review fees accrue at an hourly rate.
