Permit was in ready status, resubmittal for the steel structure deisn of the awning is being simplified. More specifically, the continuous HHS tube steel that runs underneath the awning frames themselves has been eliminated, and the tension rods will now connect to the awning frame on each side. This changes their connection point locations into the building. Additionally, the awning frame has been changed from and HSS tube steel to a C-channel.

Obtain written approval from CCDC allowing the awnings to extend into the CCDC owned parcel known as the Grove Plaza.
Increase the depth of the canvas awnings to ensure the average depth of weather protection is at least 5’ in average depth along 50-percent of the west facing façade.
Utilize baffles or shields on the luminaires to direct light onto the building and minimize direct light into the sky.
