(URBAN GREEN KIDS – CHILD DAYCARE – OCCUPANCY) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and for story increase. Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy to a new child daycare within an existing 1,152 square foot former child daycare located on the 1st story of a former church tenant space (3,863 square foot 1st story and 1,624 square foot 2nd story). This child daycare replaces the child daycare that was approved under conditional use permit CUP11-00056. The maximum number of children allowed is 20. All children are required to be older than 2.5 years of age. Egress is to the outside at grade. The former church worship area and the 2nd story are not approved for occupancy as a child daycare. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, shelves, and similar finish work are not required to have a building permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety or to discriminate against the disabled. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
