(Tile Outlet & Granite – Offices – Occupancy) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and for fire area. Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for an existing 2,445 square foot tenant space to be used for office and storage. Egress is directly to the outside at grade. This tenant also occupies the adjacent tenant space to the South. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, shelves, and similar finish work are not required to have a building permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety or to discriminate against the disabled. A separate permit is required for racks over 8 feet tall. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
