(PRIEFERT STEEL **RACKING**) Permit to add storage racking for non-combustible metal parts. Work to include: Installation of prefabricated 15'-10" tall storage racking including seismic bolting to slab for all racking. Anticipated maximum storage height to be 15'-2". Tenant Permit under BLD18-03110. Approval of this permit is contingent on adhering to approved plans and engineering. The design, testing and utilization of industrial steel storage racks shall be in accordance with the RMI Specification for the Design, Testing and Utilization of Industrial Steel Storage Racks. Special inspections required per attached form 310. The structural design by Rack Design and Engineering Co. is attached. This is a fully fire sprinklered building. Any alterations to the sprinkler system will require a separate permit and shall comply with NFPA 13 as regulated by the fire department. **MDH**

Please provide or correct the following items:
1. Vicinity Map. A vicinity or location map showing the site of the proposed activity. The site must be clearly marked and
shown in relation to the nearest major roads, cities, and waterways in the area. The map needs to have enough
information to allow someone to look at the map and be able to get to the site without requesting more
information.
2. A Key Plan and Site Plan can be combined provided it provides all the requested information (dimensions, fire hydrant locations, Fire Department Accesses). Please add the items from the Checklist.
3. Resubmitted plan sheets or documents must be renamed exactly as the original it is replacing. This allows the documents to be "versioned" over the previous submittal. (I renamed the last resubmittal so it will version as required.) I will delete the other after the next resubmittal.
4. The structural provided did not include required calculations listed in the report provided for the racking, please provide the entire report. Calculations for the attachment to the concrete floor are required as well. Please provide these items.
5. As per Tim Frost-FIRE, perform and provide a Fire Sprinkler Analyst.
