JAR // Permit to remodel 4,477 sq ft for a new office tenant on the third floor of an existing office building and for work in the common areas, including the non-rated corridor and restrooms. The remaining 1,253 sq ft tenant suite is permitted for a temporary certificate of occupancy under BLD18-03786. Work to include: new offices with new interior non-bearing partition walls and doors, relocated HVAC, new roof tope units, new data and lighting, new light switches with occupancy sensors, accessible upgrades to the restrooms, plumbing for restrooms and new kitchenette, and interior finishes to be in compliance with 2015 IBC Ch. 8. This building is fully Fire Sprinklered with an approved Fire Alarm system. Any alterations or modifications to the building’s Fire Sprinkler or Fire Alarm system WILL REQUIRE A SEPARATE PERMIT and shall be installed per NFPA 13 and NFPA 72 as regulated by the Boise Fire Department. Left message with Blu Atwood, Fifty Flowers CMO and building owner to let him know that he needs to email Jason Blais to request a 90 day extension for the Temp CofO with reasons for needing the extension, timeline/dates Law Alternatives will finalize lease, move off of 3rd floor, etc.

Spoke with building owner and Fifty Flowers CEO, Blu Atwood (###-####). Law Alternatives opted to renew lease. He is negotiating with Law Alternatives to move them down to the second floor. Agreement is not yet finalized. Anticipates Law Alternatives to move to second floor in late summer/early fall. TI permit will be necessary for work on second floor. Jim Storey has been in touch with the owner, about a month ago. Told owner I'd talk with Jim and the building official to determine how we'll proceed with the Temp C of O that is expired.

Tried to call point of contact provided, left voicemail stating that FIR permit for fire sprinklers is still in issued status, installing contractor for fire sprinklers has inspection scheduled for 04JAN2019, life fire safety inspection cannot be completed before FIR permit for fire sprinklers is finaled, this request is cancelled and a new inspection will need to be generated to coincide with fire sprinkler inspection.
