(WEST AIRPORT INDUSTRIAL PARK – BLDG A – 1ST BUILDING FROM THE WEST – WAREHOUSE SHELL) (DRH18-00264 and DRH18-00332) // 08/20/19 PLAN MOD TO REVISE ACCESSIBLE PARKING LOCATION. JAR // The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and for fire area. To construct a new 28,416 square foot warehouse shell building (380’ x 75’ exterior dimensions). Work is to include concrete footings, concrete tilt-up wall panels, concrete floor sabs on grade, steel columns with steel baseplates and anchors, steel roof girder trusses, steel roof trusses, metal roof deck, insulation on top of the roof deck, single-ply TPO roof membrane, domed plastic skylights, wall insulation, exterior overhead doors, exterior storefront windows, exterior doors, exterior steel stairways with steel landings, two trash enclosures with steel gates, steel awnings with steel support tie-back rods, a keystone block retaining wall at the sloped grade, a 40 foot wide concrete apron at the loading dock area, and a 1-hr fire sprinkler riser room with an exterior door. Special inspection is required for soils, concrete, steel (including welding and bolting), and anchors post-installed in hardened concrete. Future roof top HVAC units weighing 750 pounds each were anticipated. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. This permit is not intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any portion of this building. Separate permits are required to establish occupancy. A service sink and perhaps drinking fountains and two toilet rooms for each tenant space will be required. **JAR**

As part of the permit comment response provided 10/10/18 for Item #5 - BRS provided a revised sheet showing an additional HC parking stall provided near the south drive
aisle (sheet AS1.1). This revision was approved and permitted, however sheet C1.1 was not revised and coordinated to show this revision. Therefore construction has been
completed per the C1.1 sheet and the ADA ramp was constructed against the parking island to the south as shown in the permitted C1.1 sheet. We would like to request a plan
modification to approve the third HC stall to be relocated behind the south HC stall so that the accessible parking space can share the 5'-0" accessible aisle that accesses the
ADA compliant ramp. This new location will be able to provide a safe and compliant accessible route to the building entrances, as well as provide a 2nd accessible van space
which will provide 8'-0" clear access aisle in lieu of the standard 5'-0" access aisle. This location also maintains the previously approved design intent of the third location sharing
the south access aisle - (approved in the 10/18/18 permit drawings).
