(TOLSMA USA, LLC) **SEPARATE 516 RACKING PERMIT REQUIRED FOR RACKING OVER 8 FT IN HEIGHT **Application for inspection to determine requirements for issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for a single tenant to occupy two existing office/warehouse suites with a combined area of 10,352 sq ft. The tenant space at 527 W McGregor is a 6,824 sq ft existing office/warehouse space previously occupied by “GUARDIAN SURVIVAL” under BLD12-02605. The adjacent tenant space at 525 W McGregor is a 3,528 sq ft office/warehouse space, previously permitted as a Vanilla TI under BLD12-02129. An opening was installed in the tenant demising wall between the two spaces by a previous tenant without a permit and is to be field verified for code compliance. Under BLD12-02605, Guardian Survival was issued an occupant load reduction for plumbing fixtures in order to have one single restroom in Unit 527. This occupant load reduction approval is no longer valid due to the change in tenants. Two single user restrooms are available in the combined spaces of Units 525 and 527, providing the required number of fixtures, and are permitted as unisex restrooms per 2015 IBC 2902.2.1. No drinking fountains are provided in either space. With the increased occupant load of the combined spaces, a drinking fountain would be required. An occupant load reduction letter for plumbing fixtures has been approved, limiting the occupant load to 30. If there is a new tenant, or any changes to the occupant load, plumbing fixture counts are to be re-evaluated. NO NEW WORK IS AUTHORIZED UNDER THIS PERMIT.
