To repair the floor structure that was damaged by a fire that occurred in the space below. The floor is located between the “Knitting Factory” below and “Hawkins Companies” above. Work is to include new floor joists, new 1x6 diagonal sheathing above new floor joists, new plywood floor sheathing above new diagonal sheathing, and a new gyp-crete topping slab above the new floor sheathing. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural calculations, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. This is a scope of work permit only. This permit is not intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy for any tenant. The existing Certificate of Occupancy is still valid. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems.
