To construct 9 carports to serve existing dwelling units. There will be two 18’ x 90’ carports (1,620 square feet each), one 18’ x 81’ carport (1,458 square feet), one 18’ x 63’ carport (1,134 square feet), one 18’ x 45’ carport (810 square feet), three 18’ x 36’ carports (648 square feet each), and one 18’ x 27’ carport (486 square feet). The total floor area of all carports will be about 9,072 square feet. Three carports are considered to be one “building” having a floor area of 3,888 square feet (West), three carports are considered to be one “building” having a floor area of 2,268 square feet (Southeast), and three carports are considered to be one “building” having a floor area of 2,916 square feet (Northeast). Each carport “building” is required to be separated from other carport “buildings” by at least 10 feet and each carport “building” is required to be separated from property lines by at least 5 feet. Work is to include concrete footings, steel columns, steel beams, steel purlins, and metal roof decks. Special Inspection is required for any field welding. Accessible parking spaces, including the adjacent access aisle that serves it, are required to be covered. No columns are allowed to be located between the parking space and the adjacent access aisle of an accessible parking space. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. **CJW**
