To remodel an existing 2,317 square foot shell tenant space for a performing arts rehearsal space and offices. Work is to include interior walls, new ceiling structures supported by new interior walls, 2 single-user toilet rooms accessible to the disabled, a “high” and a “low” drinking fountain, a 1.5-inch thick sprung floor with ramps on 3 sides (sloped no steeper than 1 unit vertical to 12 units horizontal), metal lath decorative ceiling, interior doors, interior windows, and finishes. The floor finish materials for the ramps at the sprung floor are required to contrast with adjacent floor finish materials. 1) We need the most recent letter from Suez for the fire flow to the hydrants. This is required to perform our fire department review. Sorry, but I will need this letter prior to starting our review. Provide the Site specific fire flow at hydrants letter from Suez Water.
2) We require mechanical calculations to be stamped by a mechanical engineer. If you received approval from Troy James to have the mechanical plans and calculations stamped by an architect, please provide an email from him stating that an architect may stamp the mechanical plans for this particular project. Upload this email into the documents folder. Due to the increased occupant load for this space, provide mechanical equipment schedule/calculations showing the designed outside air CFM and heating cooling/load will meet the increased demand requirements. The prior vanilla shell permit (BLD17-04481) did not provide calculations for this increased demand of occupants. 4) Locate exit signs and emergency lighting on sheet A102. No reference could be found on the reflected ceiling plan locating these items.
5) Due to the increased occupant load for this space, provide mechanical equipment schedule/calculations showing the designed outside air CFM and heating cooling/load will meet the increased demand requirements.
