(STOR-IT SELF STORAGE – BUILDING #3) (DRH17-00528) This building does not have a fire sprinkler system. To construct a new 8,946 square foot self-storage building with 55 individual self-storage units (13 less than 25 square feet, 8 between 26 square feet and 100 square feet, 8 between 101 square feet and 150 square feet, 12 between 151 square feet and 200 square feet, 10 between 201 square feet and 250 square feet, and 4 between 251 square feet and 305 square feet). Three (3) self-storage units will be accessible to the disabled (142 square feet, 142 square feet, and 93 square feet). This building is one of five buildings on this site. Work is to include concrete footings; minimum 4” thick concrete slab on grade thickened at roll-up doors and at exterior walls; steel stud bearing and shear walls; steel shear panels; post-installed anchors in hardened concrete; steel exterior siding; steel roof purlins; steel blocking between purlins; steel box headers at doors; steel strap roof braces; steel drag struts; steel roof panels; metal gutters; exterior side-hinged swinging doors; and roll-up doors. Special Inspection is required for soils, for concrete, for structural steel (including welding and bolting), and for post-installed anchors in hardened concrete.
