(MCMILLEN JACOBS – SHORELINE BLDG) **FIRE SPRINKLERS TO BE ADDED TO THE MECHANICAL PENTHOUSE UNDER THIS PERMIT** This is a fully fire sprinklered building with exception to the penthouse which is required to be sprinklered under this permit prior to issuance of the certificate of occupancy. To remodel the 15,840 square foot 1st story of an existing 32,556 square foot, 2 story building for a new office tenant located on the 1st floor. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, interior doors, interior windows, suspended acoustical ceilings, suspended ceiling shapes, millwork, electrical work, plumbing work, mechanical work which includes new interior mechanical fan coil units, and interior finishes in compliance with Ch. 8 of the current IBC. This permit is intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy for the 1st story tenant. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **JHB**
