(11TH AND IDAHO) (SHELL & CORE) **Project Management- Ron Hill **PLAN MOD #2 (7/22/20) REVISED DETAILS FOR 2HR WALL TERMINATION AT EXTERIOR WEST WALL **PLAN MOD (7/7/20) REVISED 2_HR WALL FROM U411 to W440. **NO OCCUPANCY ALLOWED UNDER THIS PERMIT. TENANT SHALL APPLY FOR CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY FOR EACH TENANT PRIOR TO OCCUPYING ANY FLOOR OR ROOFTOP. ** All tenant improvements are required to provide commissioning upon buildout per 2015 IECC. (DRH18-00260) (DRH19-00228) This building is type I-B construction and is fully fire sprinklered because it is a high-rise. Permit is to complete the envelope and tenant improvement phase (Package II) for a 9-story shell & core office building with an occupied roof and mechanical penthouse on the roof level. The building has a total floor area of about 172,610 square feet (approximately 18,990 square feet 1st story, approximately 19,500 square feet second story, and 19,160 square feet 3rd through 9th story). The building has an occupied roof that is not included in the building area. The concrete and structural steel phase was done under permit BLD19-02122 (Package I). Special Inspection is required for concrete, steel (including welding and bolting), fire-resistance coatings, fire stopping, anchors post-installed in hardened concrete, and smoke control system and was provided under Package I. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. A separate permit is required for the fire sprinkler system and shall comply with NFPA 13. The fire alarm system requires a separate permit and is required to comply with NFPA 72, including the smoke detection system, as regulated by the Fire Department. Prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Completion, a commissioning report for the shell and core shall be submitted to and accepted by the code official. Discussed temporary standpipe approximately 2 weeks ago with site foreman with ESI, temp standpipe has net been installed as of this entry, per section 3313.1 of the 2015 IFC states that a temporary standpipe is required when construction reaches 40 feet, project is past the 40 foot height measurement. ESI superintendent has been notified that the temporary standpipe needs to be installed and operational by 21FEB2020 or a stop work will be placed on project until temporary standpipe is installed. This has been discussed with and supported by Joe Bruce, Fire section supervisor as well as Romeo Gervais, Boise City Fire Marshall.
