To convert a church classroom within an existing church to a daycare for children more than 2.5 years of age. The existing 919 square foot child daycare is being expanded by about 716 square feet. Including the expansion area, the total area used as a child daycare is about 1,635 square feet. The maximum allowed number of children is 34. Since the total occupant load of the expanded child daycare is less than 50 occupants, the existing fire alarm system was not required to be upgraded to comply with current standards.
