(CUSHMAN AND WAKEFIELD – 13TH STORY) The fire sprinkler system is used for high rise. To convert the 13th story of an existing high rise building to a multi-tenant story. For exit separation reasons, the common corridor that leads to exit stairway enclosures is required to comply as a 1-hr fire-resistance-rated corridor with egress travel in both directions through the elevator vestibule. Work is to include smoke- and draft-control doors having a fire-protection-rating of at least 20 minutes. The restrooms and drinking fountains on this story are required to be upgraded to be fully accessible to the disabled. The restrooms were partially upgraded under permit BLD16-03862. To create a 6,254 square foot tenant space on the 16,920 square foot 13th story of an existing high rise building. Work is to include interior walls, interior doors, and finishes. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems. **CJW**
