(SUMMIT LIFE CHIROPRACTIC – 1ST STORY – OCCUPANCY) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase, for fire area, for fire flow, and to substitute for 1-hr rated corridors. Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for a new chiropractic tenant within an existing 1,263 square foot office tenant space located on the 25,039 square foot 1st story of an existing 2 story multi-tenant building. Egress from this tenant space is directly to the outside at grade. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, and similar finish work are not required to have a building permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety or to discriminate against the disabled. The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. **CJW**
