(STARBUCKS) This building is not fire sprinkled. Permit is to build out a new 2,200 sq. ft. restaurant in a new shell space constructed under BLD20-00295. Note: site work and envelope including HVAC units and exterior lighting in compliance with 2015 IECC was approved with the shell permit. Work to include: construction of non-bearing interior walls and doors; suspended ceilings; electrical power and interior lighting; mechanical including new RTU and exhaust systems; plumbing; kitchen equipment; millwork and interior finishes in compliance with Chapter 8 of the 2015 IBC. Please provide or address the following for your Prescreen to be approved:
1. CDHD letter and Floor Plan for approval.
2. Suez Site flow letter.
3. Letter of Approval from Planning and Zoning.
4. Roof Top Plan for equipment placement. (Engineering may need to be provided from the Shell Building Permit).
5. Wall schedules were provided on A101 but no wall sections.
6. The door schedule needs to include the exterior doors as well. Door size and hardware should be part of the Certificate of Occupancy.
7. I cannot find any details/sections on suspended ceilings. None are on I 1104.
8. Fire rated penetrations, exit signs, emergency lighting and portable fire extinguishers were not shown on G004.
9. Structural calculations are required for the RTU. Was this part of the shell permit?
10. Heating and cooling load calculations are needed for new equipment but not specified where they can be found.


Signage on the building and for the Site must be applied for on a separate permit (engineering may be required).
