(BEAR ISLAND BREWERY ROOM) (CUP17-00078) (6-3-20 SCOPE OF WORK CHANGE TO ALLOW THE EQUIPMENT ANCHORS POST-INSTALLED IN HARDENED CONCRETE AS DESIGNED AND SPECIFIED BY THE PROJECT STRUCTURAL ENGINEER TO BE INSTALLED WITHOUT SPECIAL INSPECTION. APPROVAL IS BASED ON A LETTER STAMPED AND SIGNED BY THE PROJECT STRUCTURAL ENGINEER AND BASED ON THE LOAD BEING 20% OF THE ANCHOR CAPACITY.) This building does not have a fire sprinkler system. To create a brewery within an existing 1,402 square foot room and to install a grain roller mill in an adjacent 77 square foot room all within an existing 3,865 square foot building. The total work area is about 1,479 square feet. Work is to include installing brewery equipment including a grain roller mill, a grain auger suspended from the ceiling, vessels, kettles, tanks, piping, chiller, etc. This permit is intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy only for the brewery room and roller mill room. The existing Certificate of Occupancy established under permit BLD18-01332 for the tasting room is still valid for the rest of the building. Special Inspection is required for anchors post-installed in hardened concrete. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. **CJW**
