(GOLDFISH SWIM SCHOOL – SWIMMING POOL) (CUP19-00092) The fire sprinkler system is used for building area increase and for fire area. The tenant improvement work was done under permit BLD20-00438. A Certificate of Occupancy is required for that permit and for this permit before any portion of this tenant space is allowed to be occupied. To construct a 1,789 square foot Class B swimming pool within a 4,169 square foot pool room located within a 10,667 square foot tenant space used to teach children how to swim. The pool will have a total perimeter of about 198 feet, will be a maximum of 4 feet 2 inches deep, and will have a total water volume of about 53,531 gallons. Work is to include reinforced concrete shotcrete pool walls and a reinforced concrete pool floor. Special Inspection is required for shotcrete. The Special Inspector is NOT allowed to be employed by the contractor. The pool deck will have an area of about 2,380 square feet. Separate electrical, plumbing, and mechanical permits are required. The work is required to comply with the approved drawings, with the structural design, with the plan review report, and with all applicable codes and ordinances. The swimming pool, including all related equipment, is required to comply with the 2015 International Swimming Pool and Spa Code (ISPSC). This permit is intended to establish a Certificate of Occupancy for the pool room, including the swimming pool. The swimming pool is also required to comply with Idaho Department of Health and Welfare IDAPA 16.02.14, “Rules Governing Construction and Operation of Public Swimming Pools in Idaho”. **CJW**
