Furniture is placed as shown on city approved plans too get below square footage requirements for fire sprinklers as discussed with Joe Bruce, building is partially sprinklered. No fire sprinkler modifications, no fire alarms, system was installed when system size was not required to be monitored. Noted, any modifications too the fire sprinkler system will require fire sprinkler monitoring per IFC, fire extingiushers are placed with current inspection tags. Final life fire safety inspection is complete, signature provided on permit sign off card.

Per conversation with Romeo Gervais with Boise Fire, the permit will need to go back to review. The fire sprinkler system partially covers the building, currently it does not comply with NFPA13 as required by notes entered by Erika on 28JULY2020. The space also does not comply with the section 903.2.7 sub-section 4 of the 2015 IFC for Group M occupancy used for the display and sale of upholstered furniture. A seperate permit will be required for fire sprinkler and fire alarm modificaitons. No other items were inspected

No comments attached. No change of use or occupancy. Fire extinguishers will be required within a 75 foot travel distance of any location. Modifications to the existing automatic sprinkler system in this facility may be required for the storage and occupancy. The tenant improvement plans shall be reviewed by a licensed fire sprinkler contractor, to determine what, if any, modifications are necessary to maintain code compliance within the project area. A permit will be required for any necessary modifications. No combustible storage greater than 12 feet or high hazard storage greater than 6 feet in height allowed without additional review and permit.The fire sprinkler system is required to comply with NFPA 13 and the fire alarm system is required to comply with NFPA 72 as regulated by the Fire Department. Separate fire sprinkler permits and fire alarm permits shall be obtained prior to beginning any modification or installation work on such systems.
