Application for inspection to determine the requirements for the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for a new office tenant within an existing 9,340 square foot building (4,310 square feet 1st story, 2,531 square feet 2nd story, and 2,499 square feet basement). This tenant will occupy the entire building. No new work is authorized under this permit except for minor work that may be needed to correct noncompliant conditions that may exist. Painting, carpeting, counter tops, and similar finish work are not required to have a building permit. Compliance is required with the items listed in the plan review report under Referenced Code Sections because noncompliance with these items is believed to constitute a distinct hazard to life and safety or to discriminate against the disabled. **CJW**

Install exit signage and emergency lighting, to include exit discharge landing to public way, on level 1 as shown on city approved documents. Fire sprinkler modifications in basement level will be required, room being used as storage has sprinkler heads overspaced for ordinary hazard, two areas will require sprinkler heads to be added. Wires are attached to the fire sprinkler piping, per NFPA13 no external loads shall be applied to fire sprinkler piping. Fire sprinkler head in basement bathroom is painted, per NFPA13 the fire sprinkler head will required to be replaced. Any and all modifications to the fire sprinkler system will require a seperate permit. Provide fire extinguisher for basement level.
