Description
Fire sprinklers substitute for 1-hr fire-resistive construction. To prepare an existing space (6,244 sq. ft.) for occupancy as a restaurant. The 1994 UCBC has been used to define code compliance of historical features. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, overbuilt floor system with ramp, and an upgraded 1-hr fire-resistive exit stairway all per approved drawings and plan check notes on file. Separate mechanical and plumbing permits are required. The 2nd floor shall be fire sprinkled under a separate permit concurrent with this permit. The first floor shall be fire sprinkled in 1996.
