To demolish all interior non-bearing partitions on all floors including basement, remove various interior stairways, remove elevator (leaving structural frame), remove existing ceilings (leaving all beams, purlins and floor joists), and remove all plumbing fixtures per plan on file. Walls on 2nd floor at west end to be removed only after roof is shored up. Shoring must be reviewed by structural engineer (Atwood-Hinsman-Jones) with a written report made to the structural inspector assuring structural stability prior to final of this permit. NO NEW CONSTRUCTION OR OCCUPANCY ALLOWED UNDER THIS PERMIT. NOTE: The Environmental Protection Agency must be notified 10 working days in advance for all renovations that disturb 260 lin. ft./160 sq.ft./35 cubic ft. of asbestos containing materials.
