To remodel an existing Duplex into a new Four Unit Apartment Building by removing the existing stairs to the basement, building a floor system and new wall partition in this area, upgrading all interior walls separating dwelling units to a 1-hour assembly, providing two new layers of 5/8" type X gwb to the ceiling of the lower unit to equal a one-hour assembly, providing fire protection for all penetrations of these walls and floor/ceiling assemblies, building new stair access to lower unit from the exterior, providing light and ventalation requirements to the lower unit, providing bedroom window egress windows where needed, installing new smoke detectors as shown on plans, exhaust fans in restrooms and utility areas as shown and installing new wall, ceiling, and floor finishes as needed per approved plans and attached requirement lists.
