Rooms include an interior parking garage, a retort, a meeting room, restrooms, and offices. Work includes 1-hr occupancy separations, restrooms accessible to the disabled, interior nonbearing walls, 1-hr tenant demising walls, and a new opening in the West masonry wall all per approved drawings and plan check notes on file. Separate electrical, plumbing, and mechanical permits are required. This permit does not allow occupancy of the East portion of the building. That tenant must get his own Cert. of Occupancy. Jim McGarvin with West Valley Builders, Inc. came in and talked to Carl J. Westfall. Mr. McGarvin requested approval of changes to the approved drawings. Carl Westfall refered him back to his inspector since the permit was already issued. Since the changes were minor, Mr. Westfall said he could continue construction if he received the inspector's approval as soon as the inspector became available (the inspector was out until Feb. 12).

Called Bob Jue at Central District Health. He said they do not review crematoriums. He stated the jurisdiction falls under the Idaho Dept. of Environmental Quality and the Health & Welfare Dept.-Div. of Vital Statistics (Greg Heightman at ###-####). Therefore, we do NOT route to C.D.H.
