Met with Pat to have one set of plans stamped by him as the architect and to receive on additional set for review. It was discovered by plan comparison that the set of plans I had was not the latest set. Pat will provide an additional set that shows all revisions dated 7-12-95.

Received a stamped set of plans from Pat McKeegan in response to my request that he had only submitted one set of plans. The set of plans I have also need stamped by Pat. In comparison of plans Pat had brought to submitt with plans previously received, they were found to be different. Plan changes had been made but the City had not been included in receiving new updated plans. I requested another updated set of plans from Pat before I could continue circulating the plans to the Fire dept. for review.

Meeting with Pat McKeegan, Tim hogland & Dan Stuart to finalize acceptable procedures for final submittals of plans, details & time frame per a request from Mayor Coles after his meeting with Mr Balukoff & Mr Mateff, that Tim become involved with thw approval process. Tm Hogland had previously met with Pat mcKeegan on June 1, 1995 and arrived at certain conclusions of which I was notified By letter from Pat. This meeting was being held because of two major concerns that I felt had not been adequately addressed - The full construction of a rated corridor exit system by separating the corridor from the nonrated mezzanine & exercise rooms and the question on direction of door swing within the corridor. Since it had been concluded in the meeting between Tim & Pat that the doors would not be changed do to extensive costs & structural changes that would be involved, it was concluded that an early warning smoke detection alarm system be installed within the corridor system. An enclosure was accomplished of opening within the corridor and plans indicating all approved actions, approvals & method of compliance are to be submitted for review.

Meeting with Pete Mulvihill, Fire dept. plan reviewer and Wes Wooster structural division to check on their progress of reviewing Code Review, deficiency corrections and proposed time frame of completion we had received from Pat McKeegan on March 28, 1995.

Was informed by Pat McKeegan, by phone, that he had been retained by Mr Balukoff as the Architect to do a code review of the building as previously requested of Mr. Kohn. He has collected the outstanding correction notices, letters from the fire dept. & building department to the Court House. I reviewed with him my concerns and information to be presented on plans etc. Deadline of Jan 31, 1995 established by Fire & Building Dept. notice to Mr. Balukoff will not be enforced as long as a positive action is ongoing to provide compliance with Building & Fire Dept. notices per Pete milvihill & Wes Wooster.

Meeting with Balukoff, Krohn, Crossland, other Court House employee & D. Stuart on code review information being supplied by Mr. Krohn. The review of the existing building has been minimul, plans are copies of original with hand written notes but no update to reflect as-built, no correction details or proposals and no time frame. Unsatisfactory attempt by the architect to respond to requirements. Owner wants to meet with previous owner to review why some things were not done per plans and who is going to pay for compliance corrections - then they will get back to me.

Meeting is a result of plans submitted for construction of a new pool equipment storage room, new ownership requiring Occupancy certificate, on-site review with Paul Fortin of Fire Dept. and on site visit with Brad Crossland in late April, 1994.
