**WRIGHT CONGREGATIONAL UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST** This building is not fire sprinkled. To remodel an existing church and to construct an addition totalling 1,975 square feet on 3 levels. When completed the basement will be 4,913 sq. feet, the first floor will be 5,028 sq. feet, and the second floor will be 3,041 sq. feet. Work is to include concrete footings, concrete foundations, masonry walls, interior walls, 1-hr stair enclosure, six (6) restrooms accessible to the disabled, 1-hr fire-resistive corridor system, and an elevator shaft all per approved drawings, engineering, and plan check notes on file. Met with Ty Morrison, project Architect. He requested approval for some "ceremonial" demolition to take place on Sunday April 7, 1996. I told him that work with a value less than $500 did not require a permit. The scope of demolition he proposed did not exceed $500 in value. We talked about asbestos and he explained that an evaluation was scheduled to take place soon. I said we could get him a demolition and excavation permit after he submitted a cert. of value for that work only.
