To convert a 2,010 sq.ft. one story dwelling with 1,312 sq.ft. basement to an office building. Work to include installing 2nd exit from basement by way of stairs up to grade on exterior of north side of building. Installation of 5/8 sheetrock on ceiling of basement. Construction of 1-hr rated enclosure with a 20 min rated door assembly in basement at bottom of existing stairs. Construction of accessible handicap ramp to south entrance. Upgrading exsiting restroom to be accessible. And miscelaneous remodeling to the interior of building. All work to be done per approved plans on file. This building originally was granted Planning Department approval under CU-5-82 and DR-14-82 but never completed the building conversion to receive a certificate of occupancy. Inspected on 3/15/99 - No plans or approval letters available from planning dept. or Records Dept. Plans on site did not include any landscaping plans. Spoke with Architect who read approval letter for DR-10296 to me over the phone. Need above-grade H/C parking sign at front - need some small plantings in the planter at the southeast corner of property and need to clean up all the leaves, litter, pile of old "Thrifty Nickel papers" stacked at back door - cleanup broken and damaged drywall material and other misc/ litter. Re-inspected on 3/16/99 at approx 11:30 - Mr. Fenner completed all that I asked him to do - PASS
