Received resumittals for covering of foam platic. 1. Themalastic 83c 2. Tuff Stuff FR from Rhino Linings. 3. Hydrothane 60D-Class 1 from Hydroseal Polymers Inc. will evaluate and provide ruling. Again purpose of the coatings are to provide a thermal barrier of 15 and encapsulate the foam. It needs to provide engineering judgment providing flame spread, smoke development. How foam will stay in place in the event of fire. The engineering judgement need to refer to each application for specific rooms and be specific to that application.

foam platic review with Ron Lynn asstant building official in Clark County Nevada. Ron stated that he agreed with our call that it would not meet trim requirements. If we treat it as finish it should be tested per chapter 26. for finish and covered with appropriate finish material to allow it at all. I explained that we felt full coverage sprinkling was also necessary and it agreed. Ron stated that their fire protection engineer was the top expert in the nation on the subject and he would leave word with him to give us full cooperation. Doug Evans is the engineer ph-###-####.
