Called Larry Kalousek to verify that the corridor construction and smoke/fire dampers indicated as well as duct work at existing shafts & through corridor walls is existing. Larry verified that only interior modifications to the tenant space were involved. Existing fire-resistive construction would not be involved in theis project. I told Larry of my concern for smoke detector shutoff for the VAV unit 2 that provides over 2000 cfm of air-supply and requires the shutoff capability per sec. 608 UMC. Larry said he would note the requirement.
