Description
To add interior non-bearing walls within two large rooms of a single tenant space area to create new individual offices and reduce the size of the open office areas. The East half of the tenant space has an occupant load of 29 and the West half has an occupant load of 28. Each half has two exits that will be maintained as exits. Construction to be metal studs with 5/8" type 'X' sheetrock as specified on the plans. Verify exit signs and illumination as existing per architect to clearly indicate exit path. Separate electrical permit is required. FIRE DEPARTMENT APPROVAL REQUIRED AS A CONDITION OF PERMIT FINAL & OCCUPANCY. All per approved plans & attached notes. PC#773-97/drs

Call to Tarrie Walker of Armstrong Architects to verify use and to discuss occupant load noted on application. Review of room by room occupant load and giving no occupant load to rooms that are accessory to the main use thereby being used by the same tenant and not increasing the occupant load I arrived at an occupant load total of 57 (29 West 28 East)rather than the 70 noted. Previous O.L. when open office was 66 for West One Bank.

Call for Tony at PCS at 1444 Bannock to verify if this was to be an office use or a classroom training facility. I talked to Larry as Tony had gone home for the day. He indicated this was to be an office expansion. We discussed the use of each sides exits so that the occupant loads would not be combined which would bring the total to more than 30 and require rated corridors. Larry indicated that all exit doors (two each side) would be usable but they would not use all doors as access.
