THE EXISTING ASPHALT PAVING UNDER THE STORAGE AREA IS TO BE REMOVED AND REPLACED WITH A CONCRETE SLAB, SLOPED TO PROVIDE DRAINAGE FROM THE BACK WALL TO THE FRONT. Storage Classification should be a S2 but Openings between new structure and existing B are over allowed therefore requiring review as an addition to existing B, Type VN. Addition does not make total over allowed, therefore can be a S1, Type VN with no occupancy separation per UBC Chapter 3, and Table 3B. The exterior wall adjacent to the "Alley" is of CMU wall to 14' Height with no openings and qualifies as a one-hour fire resistive wall per Table 7B.
