The mezzanine in the warehouse has been reclassified as a second story to permit area to be added. A fire rated door assembly is to be added across the deck in line with the west wall of 1121 W Amity to be treated as an area seperation wall for the dock. The 1121 building is still at maximum area. This approval is in some degree an alternate design method.

Meet with Cornel Larson, Jim Kissler, Marlene, Floyd & Arlan. Discussed possible solutions to the building being over allowable area & and a seperation in the canopy between the two buildings.

Arlan phoned Cornel Larson. Mr. Larson was informed that the addition to 1121 Amity is not permitted because that building is at the maximum allowable area now. A copy of the lateral load resisting design calculations was also requested.
