Have met with Thomas Ensley, architect, and Tony Chung, owner in several different meetings to review existing conditions and to come up with a plan to create suites and separate exits to the exterior from each area and through on adjoining room, to provide proper occupancy group separation, upgrade a rated corridor to serve the residrndial dorm area and upgrade opening and penetration protection as required. A plan was presented on March 10, 1998 showing the remodel work to be done as a part of this permit. As this facility runs strictly on donations this project could take a bit of time to complete. It was suggested that the owner & architect talk to institutes such as the hospitals & Micron or HP to see if they may have rated doors & frame for opening protection tha t are extras and maybe donated to their effort.
