Description
To install approximately 18 feet of new interior nonbearing, noncombustible wall to create an office suite for the same tenant, each area with own required exit system into the existing rated exit way to the enclosure. All construction to be of fire-resistive components. Fire-retardant wood can only be used as backing within the one hour construction. To instal a new four foot door with automatic closure, controlled by the existing alarm system and smoke detectors per NFPA 80 & 72. Hardware to comply with sec. 1004.3 UBC & CABO/ANSI A117.1-92, SEC. 4.13. SCOPE OF WORK DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY PENETRATIONS OR OPENINGS INTO OR THROUGH EXISTING FIRE-RESISTIVE FLOOR, CEILING OR WALL SYSTEMS OF ORIGINAL CONSTRUCTION.
