Architect submitted new sheet A.1 showing the original proposed kitchen remodel being removed from the scope of this project and altering application to show removal of all work but the suspended ceiling demo & replacement. Maintenance of existing booths by replacing coverings and installing new tables & chairs to one area is also covered under this permit. There is no increase in number of seats or occupant load from original McDonalds layout.

Met with Steve Trout concerning quicker method of plan review for a new suspended ceiling system within the dining area of the Vista McDonald's. Since this was the only work discussed and shown on plans brought in by Mr. Trout, I told him the project could most likely be handled as a desk permit. I was not aware that plans had been submitted on Nov. 20, 1998 and were being held pending submittal of kitchen plans. Mr. Trout had removed the remodel proposal in the kitchen from the scope of this permit and said he would resubmit new plans and application for review at a later date and would like a permit just for the ceiling. After discussing with Marlen Southard, I have inserted the new scope of work sheet A.1, voided the original and will proceed with review for permit.
