(THE HOT SPOT DANCE CLUB - aka THE PALACE) For the East part of this tenant space (4,986 sq. ft.), fire sprinklers are used to substitute for 1-hr fire-resistive construction of the building. For the West part of this tenant space (1,811 sq. ft), fire sprinklers are used for area increase. To remodel a 6,797 square foot tenant space to be used as a dance club and electronic games facility. Work is to include completing a 2-hr area separation wall, constructing interior nonbearing walls, installing dance floors, building raised platforms, installing new doors, and modifying the existing fire sprinkler system all per approved drawings and plan review conditions on file. The occupant capacity of each assembly room (219, 373, 205) shall be posted near the main exits from each assembly room. The fire sprinkler system East of the 2-hr Area Separation wall shall comply with the current NFPA 13 standard as regulated by the Fire Department, including fire sprinklering the canopy.
