addendum from douglas unger 04/20/99 specify that shear and moment frame & alternate panel design were designed to include oversize room (sec. 2320.5.1) engineering indicates hd5a holdowns in 7 areas at north/south walls and 14 at east/west walls. mr. unger states that holdowns indicated on plans are adequate to develop shear for this structure.

04/22/99 bob britton dropped off information and calculations for reward system engineered by edwards & cummings. addendums from douglas unger reqarding structural engineering, address 2x6 tall walls and shear indicated on plans. oversize room does not seem to have been looked at or at least no mention of it in any calcs. also need to have holdowns verified by engineer as what is called out in his calcs is not indicated on plans. called ungers approxiametly sometime after 10 a.m. left message.
