Scheduled by a contractor via Hello! on 12/15/2005 at 5:23:58 PM. Contact: ###-####. called owner, but number apparently for Ted Scholl. He said permit holder was partner and did more "business" and Ted did actual work. He wanted power to see if they want to rent out house and to assess condition of place.I called Jim S. and he said will void permit. I called Ted and explained that the permit was being voided, and that to continue, they would need to have a licensed electrical contractor do the work. I left correction notice, 20.52(A)(1) interior metal water piping located more than 5' from the point of entrance to the building shall not be used as a part of the grounding electrode system, 110.26, sufficicient access and working space shall be provided about electrical equipment, i.e. 30"wide and 36" deep Move handrail from under panel, 408.4 complete circuit directory shall be provided, 110.14 Pressure splicing connectors shall be identified for the conductor material and properly installed. Left corr notice stating : electrical work being done by other than owner. Person doing work is not an electrical contractor, therefore not legal. Permit is being cancelled. Work will have to be done by licensed electrical contractor.
