Service Unsafe-
250.52- Permanent service shall have grounding electrode system containing 2 ground rods.
300.15- All terminations shall be in a box. Old feed to house still present and exposed to contact.
240.6- #12 conductors tap off 60 amp feed, 20 amp max required. Insulation has peeled off #12 conductors where exposed to sunlight.
* Owner wants to use service on pole for power to build new house on lot. Told to remove all load wiring and install a GFCI protected receptacle outlet on pole for construction.
Shop feeders also have illegal tap with bare expose wiring present.
