BMPs not sufficient in narrow areas. Blade for grading too wide and soil was being pushed on top of and some instances over the the wattle. Contractor had already called out RP group to widen perimeter controls to edge of disturbance (barb wire fence line) and to install sandbags along narrow areas where height of wattle is not sufficient.

WOrking with he ESC contractor, we discussed over the area on the ESC plan where it was impossible for the installation of a "trenched" sediment barrier. Told the contractor to look at other options like "weighted" products. Will follow up on 10/3/2012AM.

Met with contractor and plan designer to walk the site. Plan needs revised with correct disturbance limits and the addition of BMPs where construction is within 50 feet of the river, as discussed during the site visit conference.
