(8TH & FULTON BUILDING) This building is required to be fully fire sprinklered throughout because of low fire-flows and because basement window openings are too small. To convert the first floor of a former one story warehouse/retail sales building (9,591 square feet) to accommodate future office occupancies. The basement (9,504 square feet) will maintain its storage occupancy. Remodel is to include interior nonbearing walls, 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, a 1-hr corridor on the first floor, an exterior ramp and stairway accessible to the disabled, 2 interior stairways, a new exterior canopy on the West, per approved drawings, engineering, and plan review conditions on file. The fire sprinkler system shall comply with NFPA 13-1996 as regulated by the Fire Department with UFC. THIS PERMIT DOES NOT ESTABLISH A CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY FOR ANY TENANT.
