To modify the fire sprinkler system for the interior tenant improvements of a new full service restaurant (3,745 square foot first floor plus a 630 square foot mezzanine). Approximately 400 square feet of the first floor is being lowered 2 feet below the existing first floor level. A mezzanine is being constructed over the lowered first floor area with the finished floor level approximately 6 feet above the existing first floor level. The mezzanine has a steel deck and concrete floor system supported by tube steel columns and beams. Plywood sheathing attached to steel stud walls installed around the perimeter of the floor provides lateral support.
