Description
Peter Schott's Restaurant/Idaho Pub and Grill - To modify the building alarm system as necessary for Tenant Improvement modifications made in Peter Shott's Restaurant. Alarm modifications include adding one pull station, adding/monitoring new duct detectors for HVAC shut down, monitoring the new hood extinguishing system, adding/relocating notification appliances.
Note: The Fire Alarm application shows this alarm work to be part of Building permit BLD00-02175, which is under the name of IDANHA PUB AND GRILL BLD00-02175 and is "to construct a bar (1,450 square feet) and a wine bar (500 square feet) on the first floor (Southwest corner) of the Idanha Building. Work is to include interior non-bearing walls, interior windows, interior doors, exterior doors, a new structural header, and millwork." Per the building reviewer, that building permit does not cover the entire first floor area, which is included in this fire alarm permit.

telcon with David Asmus, regarding his 5/18/01 letter indicating direct access exits are provided from the Banquet room. These are not direct per the plans approved by our Bldg dept. If field modifications have been made, these will have to be documented, and re-submitted for approval by the Bldg Dept.
Meeting  5/18/2001
Meeting with Rob Ahten, Peter Schadt, and contractor re FA plan revisions required. To submit additional information on two HVAC units which aren't shown to have duct detectors for shut down, justifying no detection or adding detection if necessary. Also need plans showing connection of Ansul system to FAC panel and revise plans to show D1-122 to be for a HP unit shut down, not for smoke damper release. Other work is acceptable as shown on plans and approval was granted to begin installation of those new devices as shown.
