HILTON GARDEN INN - To install a fire alarm system in a new hotel building. The fire alarm system includes a manual alarm system, sprinkler system monitoring, elevator recall functions, partial area smoke detection, smoke door hold-open release, duct detectors for HVAC air handler shutdown, induct detectors for fire/smoke dampers, monitoring of the kitchen hood extinguishing system and a/v annunciation. Single station smoke detectors in the guest rooms are included in this permit but are not powered by, or connected to, the fire alarm system. For building permit purposes, two, 2-hour area separation walls will divide this four story, 137 unit hotel into three separate "buildings". Building permit (BD01-00729) is for the West Section, which contains 39 units. BLD 01-00736 is for the middle section which contains 34 units. BLD01-00737 is for the East section and containing 64 units. This section contains 39 units and has the assembly rooms. Refer to an 01-00737 for other portions of this building. NOTE: This building is fully fire sprinklered for story increase.
