The new releasing panel will be monitored by the new Fire Alarm Control panel which is to be installed in the Double Tree Hotel under permit number FIR02-00007. The building permit (BLD 01-01681) is for a new State approved modular building installation and antenna installation on roof of existing hotel building. Work to include installation of a 10'x20' noncombustible modular penthouse building on roof and antenna installations on roof. This is a Scope of Work Permit. Letter of Completion to be issued when done. NOTE: The building is fully fire sprinklered.

9/26/01-Jason at AEI indicates the existing building Simplex FAC Panel does not have 60 hr batteries nor the capacity to add 60 hrs of batteries to it. He is still working on redesign of plans to connect the new releasing panel for Nextel to the building panel; they have a deadline of Friday to have it complete; thereafter penalties apply. I will work with them to get the Nextel releasing panel plans approved on RUSH basis but replacing the building panel will require a full alarm system upgrade of the Double Tree. I recommended they contact Dave Miller ASAP for an extension to upgrade the existing Double Tree building system in order for me to aprove AEI's releasing system plans for Nextel.
