ST LUKES-SOUTH TOWER M.O.B. BASEMENT, TRANSCRIPTION OFFICES REMODEL - To install audible/visual annunciation within the tenant remodel area. The building permit (BLD01-01418) is to demolish interior non-bearing walls within a 1,958 sq. ft. portion of the existing 40,300 sq. ft. total basement area. To repair perimeter walls of area damaged as a result of demolition with 1-hour fire-resistive construction and finishes per Ch. 8 UBC. To construct full height walls of non-combustible framing with 1-hour fire-resistive construction to create two private offices; infill previous door opening between the remodeled area and GROUP ROOM S1-212 and add new 20 minute assembly exit door into Waiting Room B-02; frame across previous existing 1-hour exit corridor S1-210 to create new office suite; to add a new rated 20 minute smoke / fire door assembly at entry to S1-227 Reception Room to remove dead end hall; to install a full height N.C., N.B., F.R. wall across one room to create a new Storage Room area and Break Room; to construct a new portion of 1-hour corridor wall from the existing 4 hour area separation wall to the east to meet the existing corridor wall, all to create the TRANSCRIPTION OFFICE SUITE. Within the open suite area, to install non-combustible partitions to a height of 6'-2" to create office work stations and access thereto, and brace to floor above; to provide electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire sprinkler and alarm systems upgrades, all as needed to meet tenant needs and maintain current code compliance for each upgrade or modified system. To install new suspended grid ceiling system, floor finishes and cabinetry.
