telcon from Rich Green, Fire Sentry Alarm Co, inquiring if a FA permit had been issued for this facility and what the alarm requirements were. He indicated the system has not been istalled yet, but the owner was upset with Alarmco (who was reportedly impolite to the owner for not authorizing them to install the system under the permit they pulled) and had contacted Fire Sentry to replace Alarmco. I advised him that a permit had been issued but is past the expiry date now. So the permit may be renewed by Alarmco if there have been no changes to the facility or plans, or a new permit will have to be issued if any plan modifications are required. If Fire Sentry submits plans, that would require a new permit. He was told by the owner that the FD is requiring the work to be done by April 28th. The owner indicated to Rich, that she doesn't have the money to pay for this and inquired if Fire Sentry could finance the system cost, which he told her they could not do. He inquired about the possiblity of a time extinsion to the FD's deadline of April 28th, 2003 and I told him an extension appears unlikely to me given the already long history on this; but that would have to be decided by the FD.
