SYRINGA / PMT - To install a new fire alarm system, replacing the previously approved Notifier AFP-100 FAC panel which was to be installed for the building shell under FIR01-00404 (but was not installed), with a Notifier AFP-300 FAC panel, which includes "releasing" capability. The new alarm system will include offsite sprinkler monitoring, duct detectors for air handler shutdown, induct detectors for smoke damper release, and a voluntary partial coverage manual pull system and a/v annunciation only within the new TI area (which is completely separated from the adjoining building area, therefore alarm annunciation is not required nor provided throughout the remainder of the building), and releasing of a preaction system protecting room 105 within the new TI area. The associated TI building permit (BLD 01-02151) is to create a 550 square foot restroom core AND to create a 5,600 square foot utility switch gear and office tenant space. Work is to include interior nonbearing walls, 2 restrooms accessible to the disabled, a 1-hr occupancy separation for a battery room, mill work, suspended ceilings, and finishes.
